REACHING MORE CHILDREN WHO NEED US MOST

Milwaukee College Prep has a great model, great results, great leadership, great teachers and great demand. It is both replicable and scalable, but it needs capacity to meet this demand. Sadly, this spring we were able to enroll only 4% of all new applicants to our Metcalfe Park Campus, causing our wait list to swell to over 200. Given the ever-increasing demand and the vacant
MPS schools, we believe now is the time to move forward with our plan to expand. One year ago, Milwaukee College Prep had roughly 500 scholars. With the addition of our Lindsay Heights Campus,enrollment has grown to 940. As we move forward with our Expansion Plan, we will have the capacity to educate more than 1,500 children — a three-fold increase in just three years.

We plan to maintain our Metcalfe Park Campus at its 36th St. location, establish a new campus at 38th St. School and provide a permanent home to our Lindsay Heights Campus, which is currently leased. Ultimately, we will have three Milwaukee College Prep campuses in their permanent homes by the 2011/2012 school year.
