Every year, every student prepares a new mission statement. Here are some examples.
My Future
My mission as a young lady is to become a veterinarian because I grew up with and around animals. I am working toward this goal every day. To learn how to take care of myself, I help my mother around the house.
In order to accomplish this goal, I must first go to an excellent high school and the best college for veterinarians. I will set a goal to work hard every day in high school and college. I believe any thing is possible as long as you have God on your side.
There are no short cuts in the pursuit of excellence. I would like to give back to my family, friends, and community. I would like to be like my mother, a hard working woman and a mother to four children. If I believe hard enough, I CAN achieve this goal.

My Dream in Life
My dream in life is to be a doctor so I can find a cure for the common cold. I will help others in school. I will work as hard as I can so most high schools will accept me. To be a doctor I will find other schools where I can learn about the human body. I will give all my attention to everyone who teaches me so I can be a good doctor. I hope that my friends and family help me on my mission. In science I will listen to everything they teach me, Then when I learn all they can teach me, I will go to a special place and they will teach me all that they can.
So to help myself now I will read and study all they tell me to. Also I will give all my thoughts and effort. While others are out playing, I will go to a public library and read more books. If you think that kids are just kids, well look at them carefully, and you will see that you are wrong. They can be superstars if they want to and not just lagging on the street. I want to be like the declaration says, “I’m not awed by the challenges of reality but believe I can change the world and establish my legacy in it.” This is my dream in life!

Every year, each teacher and each administrator also prepares a new mission statement. Here are some examples.
“Be the change you want to see in the world.” Gandhi
My mission is to live these words in both my personal and professional life. In order to accomplish this goal I must practice what I preach both at home with my own family and at school with my work family.
I want the world to be a more loving place; therefore I will love and respect all the people I encounter: young and old, close friends and strangers, students and parents.
I want the world to be a more tolerant place, therefore I will not judge others or situations before listening and gathering all of the information.
I want the world to be a healthier place, therefore I will make healthy choices for my own body (eating and drinking right, exercising, meditating) and for the environment (reduce, reuse, recycle).
I want the world to be a more positive place; therefore I will build positive relationships with myself and others by finding the good and praising it.
I want the world to be a safer place, therefore I must I must be honest and trustworthy, and give others a space in which they know they can take risks.
I want the world be better, therefore I must be better everyday and in everyway. I challenge myself to do these things and model it to all of God’s children, so that they can too be a change and make the world a better place for future generations.
